Does the order of your workout matter for a weakened heart?
NCT ID NCT06626542
Summary
This study aimed to find out if the order of doing aerobic exercise (like walking) and resistance training (like weights) in a single session affects heart function in men with chronic heart failure. It involved 60 men aged 55-65 who were divided into groups to test different exercise sequences over 12 weeks. The goal was to see if one sequence was better at improving the heart's pumping ability and patients' quality of life.
