Singing and strength training: a new prescription to fight frailty in seniors
NCT ID NCT07302568
Summary
This study is testing whether a weekly group program combining strength training with Taiwanese opera activities can help older adults in Taipei stay physically fit and delay frailty. About 120 participants aged 65 and over will attend 12 weeks of sessions focused on building muscle and improving balance through singing and movement. The goal is to see if this fun, social activity helps seniors maintain their strength and independence better than their usual routines.
