NCT ID NCT07548333
First seen May 03, 2026 ยท Last updated May 03, 2026
Summary
This study looked at how the body uses energy during two types of leg exercises: eccentric (lengthening) and concentric (shortening) contractions. Fourteen healthy young women did knee exercises until they were exhausted. Researchers measured oxygen use, muscle oxygen levels, and blood markers to understand the differences. This was a basic science study, not a treatment trial.
