Scientists probe best workout for Women's midlife metabolism
NCT ID NCT06098183
Summary
This study aimed to understand how different types of exercise affect metabolism in women going through perimenopause. Researchers compared high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to traditional aerobic exercise in 28 overweight or obese perimenopausal women. They measured how the body uses energy and burns fat during and after exercise to learn which approach might better support metabolic health during this life stage.
