Can gentle exercise help rewire the brain during anorexia recovery?
NCT ID NCT04817436
Summary
This small, completed study aimed to understand how a supervised, gentle exercise program affects specific body chemicals and recovery in adults with anorexia nervosa who are undergoing nutritional treatment. It compared a group doing the exercise program to a group that did not, looking at blood markers, body composition, and quality of life. The goal was to gather scientific knowledge about the potential role of exercise in the recovery process.
