First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at how well the body of women with early triple-negative breast cancer can switch between using fat and sugar for energy, a trait called metabolic flexibility. Researchers will measure this at diagnosis, after chemotherapy, after surgery, and after a 12-week exercise program. 40 women will be randomly assigned to different exercise types or general activity advice to see which best improves metabolic flexibility, strength, and quality of life.
