Scientists test if lupus patients can outrun fatigue
NCT ID NCT05478018
Summary
This study aimed to understand how the immune system in people with lupus affects their body's response to exercise. 55 adults with lupus were randomly assigned to either complete a 12-week high-intensity exercise program or continue their usual care. Researchers measured fitness, fatigue, and disease activity to see if exercise helps and how immune proteins like interferon influence the results.
