Can a workout before surgery help fight lung cancer?

NCT ID NCT07216209

Summary

This study aims to understand if a person's fitness level and a short, intense exercise program before lung cancer surgery can change the environment around the tumor and lead to better recovery. Researchers will measure fitness using wearable devices and have some participants complete supervised exercise sessions. They will then analyze the removed tumor to see if exercise changed its biological makeup and track patient recovery and long-term health.
