Summary

This large study aims to find out if regular exercise can help elderly people live longer and stay healthier. It enrolled over 1,500 people aged 70-75 and randomly assigned them to either follow standard exercise advice or join supervised workout groups. Researchers will track the participants' health, illnesses, and mortality for up to 20 years to see if exercise makes a difference.
