Scientists test how hard exercise changes your brain under stress
NCT ID NCT06245538
Summary
This study investigated how different intensities of exercise affect the brain and body's stress response. Researchers had 24 adults with mild stress symptoms complete three sessions: moderate cycling, vigorous cycling, and seated rest. They measured brain blood flow during memory tests, collected blood samples for stress and inflammation markers, and tracked mood and fatigue to understand how exercise intensity influences mental and physical stress.
