Scientists hunt for Exercise's secret weapon against diabetes
NCT ID NCT05572905
Summary
This study aimed to understand how exercise makes the body more sensitive to insulin, a key factor in preventing type 2 diabetes. Researchers measured levels of specific beneficial fat molecules (called PAHSAs) in the blood and fat tissue of 60 healthy participants before and after exercise. The goal was to learn the basic science behind exercise's benefits to identify future targets for treatments.
