First seen Nov 11, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looks at how exercise changes oxygen use in people with mitochondrial disease compared to healthy volunteers. Researchers will measure oxygen consumption and heart function during different types of exercise. The goal is to better understand the disease, not to test a new treatment. About 90 people aged 10 to 60 will take part.
