Scientists hunt for Exercise's secret Heart-Protecting signals in blood
NCT ID NCT06247774
Summary
This study aims to understand how a 12-week supervised exercise program benefits the hearts of older adults with high blood pressure. Researchers will enroll 42 sedentary participants and randomly assign them to either follow the exercise program or not. The main goal is to identify specific proteins in the blood that change with exercise and see if those changes are linked to improved heart and lung fitness.
