Could exercise after cancer change your gut to fight recurrence?

NCT ID NCT05930496

Summary

This small pilot study is testing whether an 8-week exercise program changes the types of bacteria in the gut of people who have survived stage II or III colorectal cancer. Researchers want to see if these changes in gut bacteria might be one reason why exercise is linked to better cancer outcomes. The study will also check if running this type of trial is practical for future, larger research.
