Can a virtual workout boost health for women with heart implants?
NCT ID NCT05946304
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether two types of virtual exercise programs are safe and practical for women who have pacemakers or similar heart devices. Researchers compared a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) program to a standard moderate-intensity program over 12 weeks. The main goal was to see if women could stick with the programs and if they improved physical fitness, mental health, and overall quality of life.
