Could a daily walk save your sight? VA researchers investigate
NCT ID NCT02911805
Summary
This study is exploring whether regular aerobic exercise might help slow or prevent vision loss in aging veterans. Researchers are measuring vision and specific blood markers in participants before, during, and after a 12-week exercise program. The goal is to see if changes in these blood markers can predict whether exercise provides a protective benefit for the eyes.
