Exercise may be key to better sleep and health after stroke
NCT ID NCT06847074
Summary
This study is testing whether a 6-month exercise program can help improve sleep quality for adults who have had a stroke at least a year ago and currently have poor sleep. Researchers will compare a group doing twice-weekly exercise with a group doing social and cognitive activities to see if exercise leads to better sleep, less fatigue, improved mood, and better physical function. The goal is to find a safe, non-drug strategy to help stroke survivors sleep better and potentially improve their overall health and recovery.
