Study tests if simple walking eases debilitating fatigue in autoimmune disease

NCT ID NCT02370225

Summary

This study tested whether a regular walking program could help reduce the severe fatigue often experienced by women with primary Sjögren's syndrome. Forty-five women were randomly assigned to either a 16-week supervised walking program or a control group that did not exercise initially. The main goal was to see if the exercise improved participants' energy levels, mood, and overall quality of life.
