First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether a specific set of shoulder and scapular exercises can reduce pain, improve range of motion, and lessen disability in women who have had a mastectomy for breast cancer. About 33 women, 4 to 12 weeks after surgery, will be randomly assigned to either the exercise program or usual care. The goal is to see if targeted training can prevent long-term shoulder problems.
