Summary
This study is testing whether a supervised strength exercise program can help people with periodic paralysis conditions. Researchers will work with 36 adults who have genetic forms of either hypokalemic or hyperkalemic periodic paralysis. Participants will follow a personalized 3-month exercise program while tracking their muscle weakness attacks, strength, and quality of life.
