Can exercise be the new sleep aid for Parkinson's?

NCT ID NCT05644327

Summary

This study aims to find out which type of exercise—cardio, strength training, or a mix of both—best improves sleep quality for people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers will enroll 150 participants with mild-to-moderate Parkinson's and poor sleep, assigning them to one of three exercise programs or a waitlist group for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if better sleep from exercise also leads to improvements in daily life, thinking, and movement.
