Can exercise jumpstart nerve healing after severe arm injury?
NCT ID NCT05859178
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific exercise program can help nerves regrow faster and improve muscle and bone recovery after surgery for a severe arm nerve injury (brachial plexus injury). Researchers will compare outcomes in 40 patients who either do the exercises or receive surgery alone. The goal is to see if adding exercise leads to better arm strength and function.
