Can short, intense workouts outpace traditional exercise for brain health?
NCT ID NCT07248709
Summary
This study is testing whether two different types of exercise can help improve thinking skills and physical fitness in older adults with mild memory problems. Researchers will compare short bursts of high-intensity exercise (HIIT) with longer, moderate-paced exercise (MICT) over 8 weeks. The goal is to find the most effective way to potentially slow cognitive decline and improve overall health in this at-risk group.
