Can simple wall squats beat high blood pressure?

NCT ID NCT06515054

Summary

This small pilot study tested whether a specific type of exercise—wall squats—could help lower blood pressure in people with hypertension. Researchers compared 50 Chinese adults who didn't exercise regularly, splitting them into two groups: one did wall squats three times a week, and the other did stretching. The main goal was to see how easy it was to recruit people for the study, while also checking if the exercises actually lowered blood pressure over 24 weeks.
