Prescription for a healthier heart: study tests exercise as medicine
NCT ID NCT07469540
Summary
This study is testing if a personalized aerobic exercise program can help lower the risk of heart disease in people with chronic kidney disease or rheumatoid arthritis. Researchers will compare three groups: one doing supervised exercise, one receiving educational phone calls, and one with no intervention. The goal is to see if regular exercise improves blood vessel health and reduces inflammation in these patients.
