Can short bursts of intense exercise reverse aging decline?
NCT ID NCT07211334
Summary
This study aims to find the best type of exercise to improve heart and lung fitness in frail adults aged 70 and older. Researchers will compare two common exercise bike programs: short, intense bursts (HIIT) versus steady, moderate pedaling (MICT). The goal is to see which method is more effective at slowing physical decline and helping seniors maintain their independence.
