First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether high-intensity interval training (short bursts of hard exercise) or moderate-intensity continuous training (steady cycling) works better to improve fitness and reduce frailty in adults aged 70 and older. About 92 participants will be followed as they exercise on a stationary bike. The goal is to find the best way to help frail seniors stay independent and improve their quality of life.
