Can a simple workout routine help dialysis patients feel better?
NCT ID NCT07076888
Summary
This study is testing if adding aerobic exercise to the usual care for people on dialysis can help lower their uric acid levels, improve their ability to walk, and boost their quality of life. It will involve 32 stable dialysis patients, with half doing a 6-week exercise program and the other half receiving standard physical therapy. Researchers will measure blood levels, walking distance, and quality of life surveys before and after the program.
