Can a 12-Week workout plan rewire the brain to fight depression?
NCT ID NCT06989944
Summary
This study is testing whether a structured 12-week exercise program can help reduce symptoms in adults diagnosed with major depression. It will compare 110 participants, half doing the exercise program while taking antidepressants and half just taking antidepressants. Researchers will measure changes in depression, brain activity, and blood markers to understand how exercise might work.
