Can exercise heal a concussion? new study tests brain recovery

NCT ID NCT06494592

Summary

This study tested whether two different types of exercise—aerobic or balance training—could help the brain recover after a mild concussion. Thirty-seven adults who had experienced a concussion within the past year completed a 12-week, remotely supervised exercise program. Researchers measured changes in brain function, memory, thinking skills, and symptoms to see which approach was more helpful for recovery.
