Eye scans reveal if exercise slows brain aging

NCT ID NCT05043454

Summary

This small pilot study explored whether a brief exercise program could improve brain function and blood vessel health in older adults with high blood pressure. Researchers measured changes in fitness, eye blood vessels, thinking skills, and blood markers before and after exercise. The goal was to understand how exercise might benefit the aging brain, not to test a specific treatment.
