Exercise prescription tested to tame high blood pressure
NCT ID NCT03923907
Summary
This study tested whether a structured, 12-week exercise program could help normalize blood pressure patterns in Chinese adults with high blood pressure who were not exercising enough. Researchers compared the exercise program plus usual medical care to usual care alone in 198 participants. The goal was to see if regular exercise could improve how blood pressure naturally dips at night, which is important for heart health.
