Can targeted exercises strengthen back muscles and improve life for teens with scoliosis?

NCT ID NCT07250295

Summary

This study tested whether a specific 12-week exercise program could improve back muscle thickness and quality of life for adolescents with scoliosis. 70 teens were divided into two groups: one did scoliosis-specific exercises, while the other did general leg exercises. Researchers measured back muscles with ultrasound and surveyed participants about their appearance and well-being before and after the program.
