Scientists test which workout is best for poor leg circulation
NCT ID NCT07248137
Summary
This study aims to find out which type of exercise is most helpful for people with peripheral artery disease (PAD), a condition that causes leg pain when walking. Sixteen patients will try four different exercise sessions—aerobic, strength training, circuit training, and a control session—in a random order. Researchers will measure blood flow, heart rate, oxygen levels, and blood proteins to see how the body responds to each workout and which one patients prefer.
