Can exercise during dialysis fight muscle wasting?
NCT ID NCT07151742
Summary
This study is testing if a supervised exercise program done during dialysis treatments can help patients with kidney failure who are losing muscle mass. About 40 participants will either do a 12-week program of cycling and strength training during their dialysis sessions or receive their usual care. Researchers will check if the exercise improves muscle strength, reduces fatigue, makes dialysis more effective, and improves quality of life.
