Can exercise shrink tumors? breast cancer trial tests workout power
NCT ID NCT04623554
Summary
This study is testing if a supervised exercise program during chemotherapy before breast cancer surgery can help shrink tumors better and help patients tolerate treatment. About 102 women were randomly assigned to either follow the exercise program or receive usual care. Researchers are measuring tumor size, treatment side effects, physical fitness, and quality of life to see if exercise makes a difference.
