Can quick burst exercise and diet soften stiff arteries?
NCT ID NCT07188272
Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of high-intensity interval training (short, very hard bursts of exercise) and the DASH diet (a diet known to lower blood pressure) can improve artery stiffness in people with high blood pressure. Researchers will recruit 20 adults aged 35-50 with controlled high blood pressure. The goal is to see if this time-efficient exercise and diet combo is a good strategy for long-term heart health.
