First seen Jun 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at how different exercises—like walking and recreational handball—affect heart rate and enjoyment in men aged 50 to 82. Twenty-two men with some handball experience tried four activities: slow walking, brisk walking, walking handball, and running handball. Researchers measured their heart rates and asked how hard and fun each activity felt. The goal was to find out which exercises give a good workout while being enjoyable for older adults.
