Summary
This study tested whether starting a structured exercise program combined with behavioral counseling during a hospital stay could help people with cystic fibrosis. The goal was to see if beginning during this time made it easier for patients to stick with exercise long-term to help manage their condition. The program included supervised aerobic and strength training exercises during the hospitalization.
