Boosting exercise power for dialysis patients: can a supplement help?
NCT ID NCT05422534
Summary
This study is testing if a combination of high-intensity exercise and a supplement called CoQ10 can improve muscle strength and energy levels in people with advanced kidney disease on dialysis. The goal is to see if this approach helps fight frailty and muscle loss better than exercise alone. Researchers will measure changes in muscle energy production and walking ability in about 156 participants.
