Can working out while pregnant build a healthier baby?
NCT ID NCT07264231
Summary
This study is testing whether a supervised exercise program during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy can improve health for both mothers and their babies. Researchers will enroll 64 first-time pregnant women and randomly assign them to either follow the exercise program or continue with their usual care. They will measure the mother's fitness, weight, blood markers, and quality of life, as well as the baby's birth weight and overall health.
