Scientists measure Kids' arm strength and balance in rare lung diseases

NCT ID NCT07148362

Summary

This study aimed to understand how two rare, inherited lung diseases affect children's physical abilities. Researchers compared 88 children with cystic fibrosis (CF), primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD), and healthy children. They measured things like arm exercise capacity, muscle oxygen levels during activity, and balance to see how the diseases differ.
