NCT ID NCT06127342

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at how exercise affects learning and memory in people with PTSD. One hundred adults who have PTSD from interpersonal violence will have MRI scans while recalling a traumatic memory, then do either moderate or light exercise. The next day, they repeat the MRI to see if exercise changed their emotional and brain responses. The goal is to understand how exercise might help PTSD treatment, not to directly treat the condition.
