First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a personalized home exercise program could improve muscle function in people with moderate-to-severe chronic kidney disease who are not on dialysis. 32 participants were randomly assigned to either exercise training or health education. The goal was to understand how exercise affects muscle energy and physical performance, not to cure the disease.
