First seen Mar 09, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a 12-week high-velocity resistance training program can improve blood flow in the brain and thinking skills in adults aged 60 to 79 who are at higher risk for Alzheimer's disease. Participants will be randomly assigned to either the exercise program or their usual routine. Researchers will measure changes in thinking, strength, and brain blood flow using non-invasive tests.
