NCT ID NCT07550608
First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at how blood sugar changes during exercise in 18 active adults with type 1 diabetes. Researchers compared men and women to see if sex affects the risk of low blood sugar, and whether cutting back on insulin before exercise helps keep levels stable. Participants did two treadmill sessions—one with their usual insulin dose and one with a 50% reduction—to find the best approach for safer workouts.
