First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looked at how a 14-week exercise program might reduce chronic low back pain. Fifty-seven adults with ongoing back pain either exercised or stayed on a waitlist. Researchers used brain scans and blood tests to see if changes in brain connections and gene activity helped explain the pain relief.
