First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested the effects of a 12-week exercise program on women who had sleeve gastrectomy surgery at least 3 months earlier. Researchers compared aerobic training alone to a mix of aerobic and strength training to see which better improved body composition, metabolism, and blood markers. Twenty women participated, and the goal was to learn how exercise can support recovery and long-term health after bariatric surgery.
