Can 4 weeks of lifting weights protect new Moms' hearts?
NCT ID NCT07058818
Summary
This study is testing whether a simple, 4-week strength training program is practical and helpful for new mothers who recently had pregnancy complications like preeclampsia or gestational diabetes. These conditions increase a woman's future risk of heart disease and diabetes. Researchers want to see if a program designed with input from new mothers themselves can fit into their busy lives and help build healthy habits.
