This study tested whether high-intensity interval training (HIIT) is better than standard moderate exercise for people recovering from a heart attack. 188 participants were randomly assigned to one of three 12-week exercise programs. Researchers measured changes in heart and lung fitness, heart scarring, and overall quality of life to see which approach worked best.
